Main Page >> Amateur Macclesfield Astronomical Society Our members come from all walks of life, ranging from novices to those who have spent a lifetime in astronomical research. Whether you are an armchair astronomer or a keen meteor-observer, you will find a kindred spirit within the Society.
There are three official meetings held by the Macclesfield Astronomical Society each month. We hold a Workshop, at the famous Jodrell Bank Observatory on the first Tuesday of each month and provide a Lecture by a visiting speaker and a Beginners class on the third and fourth Tuesday of every month respectively, at the Village Hall in Goostrey. All meetings begin at 2000. Non-members are most welcome. visit site |
